Celebrate 8 years with Flying Saucer

Posted By on Wed, Jun 2, 2010 at 5:02 PM

Monday night is usually the night to experience Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, as they feature damn near all pint drafts for $2.75.

But fly in this Saturday, June 5, to help celebrate eight years of service in the University area. The Eight Anniversary Celebration begins at 2 p.m. and will include the tapping of eight rare beers throughout the day, one per hour. Pint specials will also be offered all day. Admission is free.

Charlotte beer enthusiasts won’t want to miss this party as special brews, including Founders Brewing Company’s Kentucky Breakfast Stout and Ballast Point Brewing Company’s Sculpin IPA and others are tapped. For some of these beers it’s their first time being offered in North Carolina. A full pub menu will be available as well.

For more information call 704-568-7253 or visit www.beerknurd.com/stores/charlotte.
