This month, CNBC premiered a documentary detailing how the $13 billion industry is  struggling to beat this weak ecomony. While most news shows that do stories on porn focus on the moral aspects of it, this documentary actually took a deeper look at the porn industry.

For instance, women will save porn according to the expects. And women aren't just in the films anymore.

Mainstream actors are starting to do porn now, even after having successful careers on T.V. and in the movies.

Former "Passions" soap star and beauty queen Kelli McCarty says a detour into porn, with a feature role in the movie "Faithless," actually helped her mainstream career because of porn’s growing acceptance.

McCarty: "I’m getting a lot of comments: 'Well, you went to the dark side. You’re never gonna go back.' ”   Well, the reality is, I'm already getting calls from TV shows that are mainstream. So it’s just that is hasn’t been done before. But, you know, things change."

But porn has a problem, the same problem that the music industry had when Napster hit the scene. Tube sites, according to CNBC. People are watching porn for free because we're broke and porn DVDs -- especially the good ones -- are damned near $50.

These issues and more are explored in a vivid and interesting way. Unfortunately, no nudity, but it's worth watching.
