Eddie Griffin is a pretty solid comedian as long as you don't throw your drink at him. (We're referring, of course, to the incident last July in which a woman at his show threw her drink at him for commenting on her sexual orientation and he retaliated by throwing his water bottle at her.) A longtimer in the stand-up game — as well as the sitcom Malcolm & Eddie plus numerous comedy shows, specials and films — we know him more for his hilarity than his angry outbursts. Griffin's most recent work includes lending his voice to a character on the animated series Black Dynamite and a role in the upcoming comedy flick, Mucho Dinero. He comes to town for the 2013 Charlotte Comedy Festival at Bojangles Coliseum. Just try not to let him piss you off too much. With Sommore, Bruce Bruce and Joe Torry.
