I will never understand Republicans' creepy obsession with other people's sex lives.
The only thing that makes people in this country object to a war (or a military occupation) is American casualties. We don't seem to care how many of "those people" our government maims or kills.
So the biggest advantage to drone warfare is that it keeps Americans from objecting to the war.
In his Farewell Address Washington warned the people against forming political parties.
Imagine how much our government could accomplish if they put their energy into steering the country instead of finding ways to eviscerate the other party.
Finally, someone with the courage to say it out loud.
Boy, that one hit the nail on the head.
I'm betting that the Supreme Court vote will be 4 to 5 right along the party line.
Has anyone else noticed that the evidence presented that a third world country is "spoiling for a fight" is usually that they are fighting back when we try to force them to do something WE want them to do?
Perhaps if our media would stop referring to the President of the USA as "the leader of the free world", he would stop believing it, and the rest of the world would be less offended by the arrogance of that claim.
