MuckFest MS is the mud run everyone can have the best time with the best obstacles. This obstacle course is built for some muddy family fun but also to support people living with multiple sclerosis.100% of the fundraiser dollars will go to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The event is all ages but unfortunately to compete in the obstacle course, you must be at least 12 years old (more info for your 'lil muckers on the website). Set in a festival atmosphere, the event will include: 5K, 8K or half marathon trail races. Choose your distance! Fit Fest MTB Challenge is a 4 hour mountain bike race that will challenge participants both physically and mentally. Compete as an individual or as part of a duo. Spartan Kids Race. The 14th annual WNC Flyer (formerly called Fletcher Flyer) will be held in the “Cycling Capital of the South”, Brevard, NC. The start/finish will be at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard, NC. What better way to spend the day than with a Bike Ride, Bluegrass, BBQ and a complimentary first Brew! Riders will have their choice of a full century, metric century, half century, and half metric rides which wind through the valleys south of Asheville, NC. Although it is the least hilly ride in Western North Carolina, it has plenty of rolling hills to keep all riders interested.
