Cabaret

Starts March 3. First Friday-Sunday of every month, 8-11 p.m. Continues through April 2
phone 704-894-2135

This biennial co-production between the theatre and music departments concludes our season, and indeed, the 43-year tenure of our dear Joe Gardner. Welcome to the infamous Kit Kat Klub, where emcee Sally Bowles and a raucous ensemble take the stage nightly to tantalize the crowd--and to leave their troubles outside. But as life in pre-WWII Germany grows more and more uncertain, will the decadent allure of Berlin nightlife be enough to get them through their dangerous times. Come hear some of the most memorable songs in theatre history, and leave your troubles outside - life is beautiful in Cabaret. $6-15
