as trite so this mat seem, the fact is many would like to relax with famliar family issues that work themselves on the scene. Diane Keaton has fashioned the hyper hysteria so common in Woody Allens films, yet to a stressed out community, such events can be welcoming to simular real life events that one can't so easily laugh at in the true life events. Any outlet to laugh at the antics so cartoonist, don't make bad movies. All in all, a single mom with too much control in an overwhelming situation can ring true and in that alone has great merit. give this movie a 3.
