I liken it to the American coffee geeks had their fun in 2000, the brewmiesters have been having their fun, and now it's time for a chocolate renaissance. We (The Secret Chocolatier) started in 2008 because there was no chocolate in Charlotte. Some have come, some have gone, but there are some really good artisan shops and owners currently in Charlotte.
I need to get out to Think Chocolate as I haven't met them yet but Casey over at Petite Phillipe is a gem too!
Bring on the chocolate, now to educate and raise the palate!
