Re: “Queen City Kink: Submissive empowerment

I consider myself a strong, confident feminist that loves being submissive in the bedroom. It actually surprised me at first at how much I do like to be submissive, since I find myself to be such the opposite outside of sex, but something about giving that power away and playing someone that is a bit more helpless or in my case, the majority of the time, just wants to please. It especially baffles me sometimes because I tend to fall into very anti-feminist fantasies...the whole 50s housewife theme and whatnot, but I have learned that even though that does turn me on, it all just boils down to pleasure, not necessarily your true ideals in life. Giving that up to get off every once in a while doesn't make you any less a feminist, it just makes you an open minded and well rounded human being that is in tune with your feelings.

Re: “Duke University freshman who moonlights as a porn star tells her story

Sex work is still work. She is in a legitimate business and should not be shamed for her choice. Even if she is putting her body out there for people to see, that does not mean that she deserves to be gawked at and scrutinized in her everyday life. She is still deserving of privacy. This falls to the basis of do girls that wear skimpy clothes deserve to be raped or sexually harassed? No. This girl does not deserve to be shamed and sexually harassed because of her choice in line of work...which is a really good way to quite quickly pay for that education, and without her having to worry about debt. It all boils down to it is her choice and it shouldn't matter to anyone but her.
