So instead of UNITING the fashion scene these nobodies decide to ANOTHER fashion week? How dumb is that? They are futher dividing the fashion community itself.
Let's be honest. The Fashion Weeks here in Charlotte are just of random people with no clout. Take a look at the photos. These people can even dress; and no Homless Chic does not count.
If Charlotte wants to be known for a fashion community, they need to come together. Right now its a bunch of Make Up artists and gay guys mad at Rita because she wouldnt let them get their shine on.
YES Rita STOLE Charlotte Fashion Week from Anthony, but she's a white woman. They rallied behind her for that reason alone.
When you bring in actual designers and not boutiques as your feature presentation then we can talk.
Otherwise the fashion community in Charlotte is ignored.
After all these shows, then what? Who made money? Whose photo went viral on InstaGram, Facebook, Tumblr? NOBODY!
Why?
Because Charlotte has no true style or a true fashion community to support it.
Fashion Guild, stop it.
