To open doors of opportunity for artists to embrace their community and unify in expression outside, in the open! THAT'S not pretentious! Didn't you learn that at Bank School? He certainly isn't trying to impress, although he IS affecting greater importance and culture by bringing others into the mix, once again, to unify the community in creative expression. So I guess you were half right.
