      <![CDATA[The history of Sharon Road in this article says it is named so because it passed by a Sharon Church. Actually there was a town known as Sharon in what is now South Charlotte -- my grandmother lived there and went to Sharon School -- the name of the road comes from the fact that this road connected the town of Sharon with Charlotte.
