      <![CDATA[No politician wants to go into the next election cycle being responsible for driving off the cliff. On the other hand all politicians want to try to make the other team look like THEY are responsible for NEARLY driving us off the cliff.<br>
<br>
I therefor predict that there will be daily press briefings that resemble the election ads we have just finished with until the last possible moment at which time they will either announce a compromise or they will find a way to kick it down the road and deal with it later.
