In the past two years, the Mint Museum has been revitalized by its new Uptown location and new executive director, Kathleen Jameson. A string of impressive shows, originated by the Mint or brought in from elsewhere, signals its new swagger and ambition. And the old Mint on Randolph Road - which has repeatedly won in this category - remains very much alive and kicking, too.
