Let’s hear it straight from the mouth of one of our judges: “One Saturday night, I wanted to check out a nightclub, but I was exhausted. So, I took a disco nap. Sadly, I didn’t wake up until 1:30 a.m. My evening was a bust, right? Wrong! I headed over to the Uptown nightspot HOM and, although I couldn’t down any alcoholic drinks, I danced my ass off (and even ate some grub) until, like, 4 a.m. Cool, eh?” 116 W. 5th St. 704-375-3737.
