It’s the largest county-owned nature preserve, and it’s on our drinking water reservoir (Mountain Island Lake). It boasts nearly 16 miles of hiking trails, one for everyone’s fitness level. You can boat, fish, hike, picnic, go to a live-history plantation, and, if the mood strikes, even play with snakes.
