A repeat winner. More than 20 years into their amazingly consistent history, the artists at Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte know what they’re doing and do it with unflagging gusto and brio. They broke into the prestigious National New Play Network last spring with their world premiere of Eric Coble’s Southern Rapture, based on the notorious Angels in America flap, and they reaped the first fruits of their NNPN membership by participating in the organization’s “rolling world premiere” of Steven Dietz’s Yankee Tavern last fall.
