Skateshop owner Brandon Nash is anticipating the future opening of his skatepark, Soul Ride Skatepark. When he is not attending the First Assembly Church in Concord, he is focusing his time on building a safe, clean skatepark in the Concord area.

1) Movies: "UHF has that strange Weird Al humor that I have always loved as a kid. Weird Al takes over a television station and wackiness ensues. If you haven't seen it, you need to."

2) Sickest injury seen in person: "A friend of mine dislocated his shoulder once. We were riding long boards down a really steep hill, and he just lost it into a curb. I heard a pop, and when he stood up, his arm just kind of dangled there like noodle."

3) Junk food: "KFC. They make the best chicken. Thick oil and grease over crunchy chicken. Well, you just can't beat good fried chicken."

4) Favorite part (that's the wooden part): "It would have to be Creature. The designs are that classic 1970's style. Some of the current decks are too cluttered or bland. Creature keeps it classic and stylish."

5) TV show: "I'm too busy to watch the current stuff. Seinfeld is awesome though. That odd but everyday humor cracks me up."
