This workshop will teach you why we do pranayama and when and how to practice it both on and off the mat. Learn the foundational breathing practices used to center and focus the mind; move into breathing practices used to raise energy levels; and wind down with breathing practices used to relax the nervous system for deep introspection and meditation. At the end of the workshop, you will feel empowered to take pranayama home to practice and be able to participate confidently in pranayama during group yoga classes.
