So the Cold War Kids’ breakout hit “Hang Me Up To Dry” may have run its course by now, but the band is back and ready to reinvent with a new five-piece line up and a hit single, “First,” which spent eight weeks atop the alternative charts. The band’s new mainstream success has been 13 years in the making, but we still will defend “Hang Me Up To Dry” as at least one of the coolest videos of the 2000s.
