Dance Charlotte!
Dance Charlotte has a way of keeping Charlotteans on their toes. At the annual event, contemporary, classical and other dance-fusion forms collide in a frenzy of footwork from local and regional choreographers, dancers and troupes. Charlotte's Caroline Calouche & Co. and Echo Contemporary will be there, in addition to others — including the Boone-based Sherone Price, who specializes in African dance, and MOVEiUS Dance of Washington D.C. The two-day shindig features a series of performances and workshops and culminates in the Charlotte Emerging Dance Awards.
