Just do it: Man’s Best Friend
We can all take a cue about how to enjoy the little things in life from our dogs. A ride in the car with the windows down, a treat before dinner or a playful game of fetch in the park are all they need for a tail-wagging good time. For Theatre Charlotte’s latest “Just Do It” — a themed reading and performance series — the focus will be on Man’s Best Friend. The dog-themed and dog-friendly show will showcase local performers as they act out stories about their canine relationships. Created in the early 1990s by Vito Abate, the “Just Do It” series has become a staple of the theater community in Charlotte. This year marks its eighth season. Folks attending are allowed to participate and bring their leashed companions to the event.
