Ready or not, you may find it imperative to tell the world who you are during this period of time. Many of you will choose to break free of something or someone who has kept you bound to a lifestyle that no longer suits your needs. Independence is singing in your heart.

For All Signs: The full moon of March 3 is eclipsed in the sign of Virgo. Eclipse periods bring brewing issues to the boiling point, and we are compelled to address whatever we have been avoiding. The energy is prominent throughout this month. Please see the next issue for a fuller discussion of the current eclipses. Mercury watchers will be happy to note that this planet turns direct on March 7. After a flurry of changes, our day-to-day life will run more smoothly.

Aries: Over the next two weeks, aspects favor activities involving the law, publishing, travel and education. Business in general will flow your way and reward(s) are incoming for past effort. You could experience a compulsive drive to connect to a former relationship. Use caution. It may not be a good idea.

Taurus: It may seem as though you are operating in the background of life this week. Even so, there are positive payoffs coming your way through any of the following: gifts, inheritance, insurance or spouse's resources. Authority figures will smile upon you. If you need help or a favor, just ask!

Gemini: An old wound, related to friends or associations, could be scratched again this week. The purpose is to create an opportunity for a deeper healing. Your planetary ruler, Mercury, will be turning direct on the 7th. You may change your mind on important things. Avoid contracts or promises for the next couple of weeks.

Cancer: The month of March will bring one or more important things to a critical point. In particular, the following areas offer potential foci for attention: neighbors, your neighborhood streets, vehicles and parking, legal/ethical/moral issues, publicity, people at a distance and travel. Take things one at a time.

Leo: You are in a highly independent frame of mind and will easily tell anyone what you think or feel. Unusual occurrences may happen in the form of intuitive awareness, surprising dreams or other odd phenomena. You might realize you can suddenly let go of angry responses to a previous emotional blow.

Virgo: Significant others are showing signs of shifting gears one more time. Do your best to remember it is your ruling planet Mercury's fault, so you can maintain your sense of humor. Don't believe anything you hear for a couple of weeks. Wait until the dust settles on Mercury's change of direction March 7.

Libra: Over the next two weeks you have highly favorable influences for any of the following: love life, social experiences, travel, education, publishing, and activities involving groups or organizations. Business-related pursuits will flow well. Keep exchanges between you and others fair on the give and take.

Scorpio: This is an unusual week for you. Generally when aspects are tense you are right in the middle of the fray. But now you are one step removed, in the calm. This is a week when your ability to manage crises and to help others in a panic will come to the fore. You can be of help to more than one individual now.

Sagittarius: Positive energy and good humor surrounds you over the next two weeks. Fun, play, romance and social life are given "go" signals. A referral by a friend or lover helps you make favorable business contacts with those away from home. Beware the tendency to overdo with the goodies of life.

Capricorn: Because of Mercury's shift in direction at the end of the week, you may be changing your mind about a financial decision. If you feel unsure about your plan, stop now and give yourself a couple of weeks to let the dust settle. New information may come to light that will allow you to be more certain.

Aquarius: If you catch yourself with a sharp tongue, it is because an old hurt has been brought to consciousness. You are challenged to respond authentically and speak of the pain, rather than spitting fire at others. Talk with a trusted friend or a professional if you are unclear just what is at the bottom of your feelings.
