The Blotter

Bizarre crimes from the Charlotte police reports

CMS Horror Stories: A 28-year-old middle school teacher said she was physically assaulted by one of her preteen students. She said the student punched her in the chest and tried to physically overpower her. Once his melee with the teacher was over, the student began to terrorize the classroom by knocking over desks and throwing books.

More CMS horror stories: A 43-year-old middle school teacher was trying to kick a student off the school bus for being "insubordinate and disorderly" (or in other words: for acting a fool). Deciding that he wasn't going to be punk'd in front of his peers, the student pushed the teacher and began punching him in the face.

The Real Radio Raheem: A 47-year-old man said his neighbor's music was too loud, so he went next door to ask him to turn it down. The man and his neighbor started arguing about the volume of the music and the neighbor said he wasn't going to turn it down. Even as the argument escalated, the man wasn't leaving until his neighbor turned the music down. The neighbor then pulled out a gun and spit on the man. The man then went back to his home.

Why you should mind your own business: A 41-year-old woman thought she was helping one of her colleagues, who was having a work-related issue, when she offered him advice on the matter. But, since he didn't ask for her two-cents, he didn't want it. He told her, "I will follow-up ... I don't need your help." But the woman insisted on helping. Getting heated, the man then told her she was in his personal space and pushed her.

Threat of the Week: A 21-year-old woman was sitting in her car in the parking lot of a restaurant, when a man came up to her car and said, "I will kill you and fuck you up, you fucking bitch." She said she's never seen the man before.
