Eileen on Camden Road. It's my favorite boutique in Charlotte. Everything in the shop is less than $99, and you can always count on Eileen to have the latest and hottest fashions. I can find great clothes for both work and play!

Covenant Presbyterian Church in Dilworth. It's a beautiful historic landmark (1000 E Morehead St.), the people are the warmest and kindest folks you could find anywhere, and there is a genuine commitment to helping the community thrive. My wife loves the social atmosphere in the Women's Circle and Young Adult groups. My baby girl, Emmaline, is going to enjoy the youth programs someday (right now she really digs the nursery). After church, there's nothing like brunch and Bloody Marys at Boudreaux's in NoDa (501 E 36th St.). I heart Sundays in Charlotte.

The small areas that have their own individual vibe. Depending on your mood you can venture into Plaza Midwood, NODA, Elizabeth, Myers Park, Uptown, etc. I love all of the local business owners that give the big city of Charlotte its small town personality!
