Speaking of Comic-Con ...: There seems to be another interesting convention happening in conjunction with San Diego's big comic convention.

Critic sues over Wolverine: Remember that critic who got fired because he reviewed a bootleg copy of the Wolverine movie? Well, looks like he's trying to get some payback.

Permanent Damage: This ain't really news, but I just love Steven Grant's long-running comic book column over on ComicBookResources.com. You should read it every week.

Who's dead at DC?: So, Blackest Night — the limited series by writer Geoff Johns that promises to raise a ton of characters from the dead — is about to take over the DC Universe. But before you read that, check out this list of deceased heroes you may or may not be seeing once the comic hits.
