I had to miss last night’s show. Too much stuff going on around our house and it was one of the first weekends we were actually at home in a long long time. Glad I didn't have to stand in a queue near the venue to get cheap Country Megaticket tickets as Ifound them at http://www.goodseattickets.com/Country-Megaticket

What an idiot! Hope you enjoyed the Beiber show Rach!
In this economy, it seems the only people spending money are the ones trying to forget about how bad things are. So, let's just shut that down too.
Awesome! Thanks so much Samir!!
This guy is vinigar diluted with water vaginal implement. She rocked out with emotion. Regardless of how she looks... She put on an emotional. personal, live show. And it was honest. And she rocks.
You are absolutely right, Eric. Silly error. I can tell you WHERE I was when John Lennon was murdered (working in the reserve room at Joyner Library on the campus of East Carolina University), but in failing to double check the date, I got it wrong. It has been corrected in the story above. Thanks for pointing that out to us.
i felt as if i was writing the first 2 paragraphs! great read
I recall hearing about or reading about the fact that Kurt Cobain was a beatlemaniac and that they constantly had to get him to leave Lennon song alone so they could practice or record Nirvana songs.
John Lennon did not die December 7, 1980. He died the following night.
"About a Girl" would bear that out, Tom.
If my second-hand cocktail-party knowledge of literary theory is worth anything, the critic Harold Bloom has suggested that artists somehow deal with a threateningly strong influence by disguising it behind a less strong and therefore less threatening one. I submit that Paul McCartney was the true agonistic influence on Kurt Cobain, and John Lennon a less threatening and more superficial disguising influence.
@John: You're not my sister.
That's odd. I think of Paul as "the musically talented Beatle".
I WISH I WAS THERE TO GO WITH YOU KIMMIE!
Great review. DANCE PEOPLE, DANCE! I would have been lassoing all over the place.
We'll get that credit on the photo right now, Grey.
Cover art for this single was courtesy of Amy Ellis Photography..an amazing artist in her own right..:)
My two cents. I'm not hip at all, and I think Lunchbox is a wonderful store. When I shop there, I've never been made to feel like I don't belong in any Geek Fraternity.
I don't shop as much at Lunchbox (or anywhere else for that matter) as I'd like, but that's due to financial considerations. That said, every time I have shopped at Lunchbox has been a perfectly pleasant experience. Scott in particular has an encyclopedic knowledge of music over a diverse range of genres, and has turned me on to to several great records. I think what we're reading above is another tragic case of Classic Rock-itis....keep up the good work, Wishart!
Re: “Coolio's new tattoo... whoops!”
