Re: “Logan: No Country For Old X-Men

I really enjoyed this movie. I think it's everything a comic book movie needs. I thought blood and violence fit perfectly. Especially this being Hugh Jackman's last role as Wolverine. It didn't feel forced to me. Although I do think Deadpool had a big impact on the R rating. I especially thought the little girl stole the film. She was excellent. As well as Jackman as always. I do agree with you about the villains being weak though. They could have done a better job with that.

Re: “Logan: No Country For Old X-Men

I enjoyed your review and thought it was spot on. Also, I really detested how Mangold inserted 'Shane' into this movie. He has zero idea what the film is about. I have no clue what kind of statement he was trying to make other than some broad stroke like 'a brand sticks' or whatever. George Stevens was a brilliant director and Mangold does him a huge disservice by placing Shane into this dreck.

Re: “Logan: No Country For Old X-Men

Update: I just found and read the Cnet critic's review. Our reviews are 100% different, starting with the fact that he loved the movie and I gave it a mixed review. So I guess you're saying I plagiarized from him (even though I saw the movie waaay back on February 16) just because we have similar headlines? Wow, with hundreds of critics reviewing the same movies every week -- yeah, I'm sure THAT coincidence has never happened before! Therefore, I was correct in my assumption that this was just a case of a fanboy blindly lashing out. But thanks for writing!

Are you drunk, Antony Thrope, or just exhibiting the usual fanboy hurt? I have never plagiarized in my 25+ years as a critic and don't plan to start now. Give me specific examples of what I supposedly plagiarized before making Trump-like b.s. accusations.

Cnet is widely read, and probably not the best place for you to plagerize your reviews from.
