I snort in open support of this article and The Milestone. Dilhole.. hahaha
Lol I think Im most partial to Dilholes. You the best Treezy! Great job!
"Last Irish Bar for Miles" is my suggestion.
When I moved here from NY, and opened my first Queen City establishment, we actually had to submit our future restaurant's name to discover other businesses with the same name, obviously we wanted to insure there was no other local biz DBA as Lulu.. has he NOT done this, or did he just go, "fuhgidabowdit?"
It's a bad look, but unfortunately? The Chads of Dilworth and other condhole dwellers won't care either. Great article, Erin, unfortunate it had to be written.
This article rules, great job standing up for the one and only.
World Famous Milestone.
Awesome Erin! When I first heard about this, it got me Irish blood a boiling! I have a suggestion... Anything and I do mean Anything but Milestone!
Man it seems like I grew up at the milestone, mainly because they were a bit lax on carding people back in the day (1970s) In high school we would go hang out there every week . ... if we couldn't get in we just sat in the parking lot gettin high and listening to the bands. I saw RHCP when they were still a punk band, I saw R.E.M and the B-52s before they broke big. Hat's off to Bill Flowers . ... the Milestone is a cultural landmark every bit as valid as CBGB . .... and no, you can't use the name for your new yuppie bar I only wish GG Allin were still alive so he could go take a shit on top of the bar in your new "pub" jus sayin
Thank you!!! I mean.... did he do ANY research on the city before deciding this? Great read Erin!
why not just Sonnyboy McHughs - that would be an awesome name for an Irish pub
Well this is awesome!!
I don't believe it that is one ugly bald dude! Nikki would have to be desperate to fuck him! I think she could have any man she wants , why an ugly fuck???
If you would really read my comment, you can plainly see that I am mocking CL for putting the comment in the article. I know they would never say that if the arsonist was a white person.
What's 'confusing' about this? The black man who committed the arson and left the note was pretending the act and note were done by someone white. He's clearly racist against the store owner AND racist against white people. Why is this so hard for you to figure out?
I have never heard of someone who has committed a "hate crime" called a "confused young man". Why was this term used for this particular case?
Next year i am so doing this. you have fantastic ideas. thanks for posting. I saved the list. i wasnt here this last year for Valentines. i just moved here http://www.statesvillechamber.org/list/member/dr-horton-22202
