1) Diversity Within the Community (FREE) - DIVERSE members of the community discuss openly how issues impact them personally. Great for "the family" or those who have a hard time accepting/understanding "gay people"
2) What Works in the Workplace ($25)- presentations by consultants, trainers, academics, and LGBT professionals covering best practices, with a focus transgender. Morning sessions are overviews. Afternoon sessions are more advanced.
3) Breakout Sessions (FREE)- Alternative sexuality and soft-skills training

Different Roads Home offers support groups of a new sort. Our goal is to focus on individuals that are HIV positive, how they can live a positive lifestyle, and connect with other positive people. This group is open to men and women who are HIV positive, as well as their supporters, who may attend regardless of their status. Our goal is to focus on individuals that are HIV positive, how they can live a positive lifestyle, and interact and connect with other positive people. Meetings will often be topic driven, encouraging healthy behaviors from eating habits to dating. Our men's support group is open to men who are HIV positive. Men's meetings are held the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm at Different Roads Home in Huntersville.
