Charlotte Nature Museum Exhibits

Tuesdays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays, 12-5 p.m.

Features live exhibits of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians native to North Carolina. Get close to wildlife by walking among butterflies in a Butterfly Pavilion, observing live animals in both Creative Cavern and Insect Alley, hanging out in "Our Big Backyard" or exploring the Paw Paw Nature Trail.

Michael Whittington, President and CEO, Oklahoma City Museum of Art – Oklahoma City presents this timely topic. If you are a regular museum goer, you've probably noticed changes in some institutions. If not a regular, come find out what's ahead that might be of interest. Michael Whittington is a former Curator of Ancient American and African Art at the Mint Museum. Coffee is served at 10 and the program starts at 10:30. The event is open to the public and free after museum admission. Free after museum admission
