Charlotte Nature Museum Exhibits

Tuesdays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays, 12-5 p.m.

Features live exhibits of mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians native to North Carolina. Get close to wildlife by walking among butterflies in a Butterfly Pavilion, observing live animals in both Creative Cavern and Insect Alley, hanging out in "Our Big Backyard" or exploring the Paw Paw Nature Trail.

What's New, What's Next? The Mint Museum's 80th Anniversary Season

Jon Stuhlman, Mint Museum Senior Curator will present a sneak peek at the exhibitions and events scheduled for the museum's 80th anniversary season. Sponsored by Friends of the Mint, the program is open to the public and free after museum admission. Coffee is served at 10:00 a.m. and the program is at 10:30. Free after museum admission
