Combining elements of classic and grunge-era rock, Atlanta quartet Royal Thunder sounds like a happy marriage of Led Zeppelin and Soundgarden. Led by the dynamic range of singer Mlny Parsonz and churning guitar of founding member Josh Weaver, the band slinks between prog and metal elements with ease, helping them tour with metal bands including Baroness and the Dillinger Escape Plan, while also landing on a Bonnaroo lineup.
