The Happy Belated Birthday to my Sister Comedy Improv Musical Variety Extravaganza Starring the Chuckleheads show will a sibling themed unscripted improvisational comedy games (ala Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Improv-a-ganza, and the Second City,) musical games/activities, game show elements, and the heavy-duty audience participation that are staples of the six-year-old Chuckleheads’ improv comedy troupe’s shows. And it’s all made up on the spot. $10/$15

The Charlotte Museum of History will host a series of afternoon teas based on the tea-time customs of Ireland, Wales, Scotland, and England. A guest speaker from the featured country will give a presentation on that country’s culture and tea customs. The Welsh afternoon tea is July 27, 2014 and will feature Welsh rarebit along with a traditional tea menu. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required no later than two days prior to the event. $20 for the public, $15 for museum members
