100's of vintage VW buses (1955-1979) will be coming to Charlotte to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary.
Hodges Family Farm will have: food vendors - hay rides - pony rides - farm animals and bouncy castle during the show. This is a fun family event taking place on one of the last working family farms in Charlotte (180 acres/100 years old).Tie dye and love beads optional!

LakeNormanMommies and the EnergyExplorium at McGuire Nuclear Station present a Family Carnival Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event features activities, bounce houses, food, games, performances, prizes and touch-a-truck.
Attractions include appearances and performances by Twist the Balloon Man, Cold Blooded Encounters, Rocket Ryan, Carolina Renaissance Festival, Burn Bootcamp, Cheer Explosion, Expressions Dance Studio, Grand Central Academy of the Performing Arts, and Rock University. The 4th Annual Red Rose Festival promises something for everyone. Artisans and crafters will be selling collectibles, hand-crafted items such as art, jewelry, children’s clothing and crafts. Kids will enjoy the Kids Zone where they can scale the rock-climbing wall, slide down an 18-foot slide, bounce around, and relax on the carousel. Food vendors will be selling delicious funnel cakes, hot dogs, barbeque, and fun southern food.

Kick off Memorial Day weekend with a challenging five- or eight-mile race through the USNWC trail system. The races will be followed by a Memorial Day celebration that includes entertainment, food, drink, fireworks and live music.
The festival kicks off with five and eight mile long trail races. There will also be live music by Marc Broussard, Bonerama and Jesse Dee, from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. The shenanigans finish off with a fireworks show. Free admission ($5 parking)
