Queen City Brass Band 21st Season Celebration Concert

The Queen City Brass Band will present a special concert for the Charlotte community under the direction of Jamie P. Hood, Salvation Army Divisional Music Director and Besson Performing Artist. The Band is celebrating its twenty-first season of performances in the Charlotte-Metrolina region. The repertoire for this concert will include many stirring brass band arrangements designed to showcase the special sonority and tonality of the full brass band instrumentation! The rich brass sound is unique to this type of musical group and will provide an enjoyable experience for music fans of all ages. Free
Queen City Community Orchestra Spring Concert 2013

Celebrating our 40-plus years, we are the area's longest-running all-volunteer non-profit community string orchestra - led by conductor Aleo Sica. This concert will feature a Theremin, an electronic musical instrument played by the free movement of the performer’s hands in the space around it. While we are proud to continue the tradition of offering a FREE concert to the public, any donation(s) would be extremely appreciated. We’re also collecting for the food pantry; feel free to bring a non-perishable item and we’ll make sure it helps those in need!
