You are invited to Temple Beth El's 20th Annual Comparative Religion Series. The 2017 theme is "Am I My Brother's Keeper? Roots of Ethical Responsibility". The Series begins on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 and runs for 5 successive Tuesday evenings through Tuesday, February 28, 2017. The 6th and final session will be held on THURSDAY, March 9, 2017. Guest speakers will offer their faith's perspectives on this compelling topic. The Series is FREE and open to the public. No RSVPS are necessary. Our classes are always free and we can help you get started if you have never clogged before. Weekly Wednesday Evening Meditation Insight Meditation Community of Charlotte Practice instructions for those new to meditation at 7pm. Silent 30 minute mindfulness meditation at 7:30pm followed by a dharma talk and discussion. IMC Charlotte is dedicated to the practice of Insight (Vipassana) Meditation and Lovingkindness (Metta) practice. Persons of all faiths and beliefs who seek freedom of heart and mind are welcome.
