LakeNormanMommies and the EnergyExplorium at McGuire Nuclear Station present a Family Carnival Saturday, May 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event features activities, bounce houses, food, games, performances, prizes and touch-a-truck.
Attractions include appearances and performances by Twist the Balloon Man, Cold Blooded Encounters, Rocket Ryan, Carolina Renaissance Festival, Burn Bootcamp, Cheer Explosion, Expressions Dance Studio, Grand Central Academy of the Performing Arts, and Rock University. DJ and MC services are provided by Little Dreamer Productions.

The 6th annual Fanta Festival is a FREE, family friendly celebration of Mexican culture. The festival features internationally known and local Regional Mexican music acts, traditional folkloric dancing, tasty authentic foods, a marketplace full of assorted cultural goods, a free soccer clinic for children 6 – 12 years old, the McDonald’s Kid Zone, the Coca-Cola Fun Zone, a non-profit and small business area, and loads of interactive games for the whole family to enjoy.
