Owners Jill Marcus and Karen Teed, who also own Something Classic Catering, have opened the brilliant Halcyon, Flavors from the Earth in a space and with a menu dedicated to nature. The arts-and-crafts-movement interior is a stunning push back from processed design, while the menu, executed by Chef Marc Jacksina, uses as many local products as possible and keeps the menu seasonal. Halcyon has a laudable sense of place.
