Free Market Warrior vs. Uniquely Obama

Posted by Kimberly Lawson on Tue, Jul 28, 2009 at 11:39 AM

By now I'm sure you've heard about the conservative kiosk owner at Concord Mills who sells merchandise critical of President Obama, amongst other things.

Loren Spivack says his kiosk, Free Market Warrior, is being nudged out of the Concord Mills mall in Concord, N.C., because of political reasons. He's scheduled to meet with mall officials Tuesday afternoon, when he might learn the fate of his eight-foot-long kiosk. A press conference at a nearby hotel is slated for 3 p.m., he told FOXNews.com.

Well, if you're pro-Obama, you can check out a kiosk at Northlake Mall called Uniquely Obama. The owner's got all that Obama merchandise that was on sale on every street corner in DC during the inauguration: T-shirts, buttons, mugs, and more. Last time I checked it out, the kiosk also had Michael Jackson memorabilia on display.

WTF Conservatives keep telling us we should let businesses make their own decisions without public meddling, yet they scream and cry about this? Gives me a headache...

CJ - you are stupid! Yes - businesses should be allowed to make their own decisions, but those decisions BEST be the same across the board. Meaning: If a "pro-Obama" shop is allowed, then an "anti-Obama" shop should be allowed - otherwise, get rid of them both. I know fairness and transparency is not your strong suit, but try to stretch your brain cells to understand. Next, the cops will be giving tickets to people with "Nobama" bumper stickers on their cars, while ignoring those with "Obama-Biden" stickers - same situation.

The South is becoming educated!! Yeah! Makes me proud to live down here for once. Such hate when SOME people won't give our new president a chance. He has a load to clean up from the past president, you all know it. A kiosk completely filled with NOTHING except hate our president items SHOULD be banned. In the South, you know its racist related...
