Back to reality

It's Thursday, got anything to do this weekend? Probably not. Charlotte's back to being herself, boring as fuck. Why does this city have to be an event city? Unless there's a CIAA or Speed Street going on there is really nothing to do in town where you meet new people. The bar scene in Uptown is filled with the same stale people. The club scene is a snoozer and certain places should offer bullet proof vests at the door. Some promoters wait until CIAA or other events to have a party because they know that's the only time they'll make money. It's a damned shame they charge an arm and a leg and a pint of blood for the cover charges, though.
So, what's going on this weekend and why can't we make the feel of big events last forever in this city?
