This week's cover story "Charlotte Ink" touches on the subject of body modification and the great lengths people go to express their individuality and rebel against the confines of their bodies.

This is some serious dedication to Lord of the Rings. If it didn't involve stitches through the ears (piercings hurt enough, no matter what the girl with the piercing gun at Clair's says, thank-you-very-much) or if the supply of plastic elf ears from China runs completely dry and I am in desperate need to dress as an elf (such as, if I ever have an affair with Orlando Bloom), then I might, might, maybe, be down with this.
