When football goes all wrong

Yesterday was the long awaited kick off of the NFL's regular season. Football fans across the metro area got a chance to watch the Carolina Panthers take on the San Diego Chargers in a game that went down to the wire.
But at one football party, something went horribly wrong. Two men were arguing about football, which teams and games isn't known. According to media reports, the homeowner asked one of the men to leave. Full Story
The guy left, came back with a gun and shot the man he was fussing with. All over a football game?
So, let me get this straight, two grown men are fussing about multimillionaires who don't give them a dime. It gets so heated that one man decides he's mad as hell and he's going to bust a cap in somebody's ass? Wow!
I'm a fan of football, I can talk shit with the best of them, but at the end of the day, who wins in week one or the Super Bowl for that matter doesn't affect me enough to get a gun, shoot somebody and ruin the rest of my life. So when the police catch this idiot, what's he going to do when he's locked up and the warden wants the inmates to watch baseball on Sundays?
