Obama cookouts

Posted By on Tue, Sep 9, 2008 at 10:19 AM

Obama supporters across the country will have cookouts Saturday. Here's a snippet from an e-mail sent out by N.C. campaign staff:

If you still aren't sure who you plan to vote for in November, this is a great opportunity to learn more about Barack -- who he is and where he stands on the issues that matter most to North Carolinians.

If you're already a supporter, bring along a friend who's undecided and help grow this movement for change.

Find a Cookout for Change near you and make a difference in your community.

North Carolina is going to be a crucial battleground in the general election, and we can win here. But it's going to take all of us working together.

At each Cookout for Change, you'll hear from local Campaign for Change staff or local supporters about why they are working for Barack.

With less than two months until Election Day, a lot of people still don't know about Barack. This is an opportunity to introduce people to Barack's message of change and help grow this movement.

You can find a cookout near you here.
