Food / News The 'bam!' man Emeril Lagasse in Charlotte

Chef Emeril Lagasse (who has shows on Food Network and the Fine Living Network, authored 12 cookbooks and owns restaurants in several cities, including New Orleans and Las Vegas) showed off his kitchen utensils at SouthPark Mall yesterday. After a cooking demonstration in Center Court -- he fried some chicken, baked some bread and did up a tasty-smelling dish with pork, bacon and veggies -- Lagasse signed copies of his newest book Knives Cooks Love at Sur La Table. The line of people to get his autograph was wrapped around the store and spilling out of the door down the mall corridor.
