The Great Black Hope

President Barack Obama is trying hard — real hard. The Republicans are standing in the way and on his neck as he tries to do something, anything to help turn this economy around. Part of me says, "Go Obama. Try to work with the Republicans to make a deal." The other part of me says "No Obama. Forget reaching across the aisle and trying to work with them." The GOP is standing in the way of progress as usual, which is why this thing is taking so long. The jury is still out on this working across the aisle stuff, but I will give him props for at least trying.
