Creative Loafing is looking for new voices for a new online initiative set to launch soon on www.charlotte.creativeloafing.com.
Specifically, CL is seeking people who possess knowledge and a passion for one of the following subjects: news/politics, music, film, visual art, theater/performance art, food and sex/love.
Candidates should also have some writing ability. Folks chosen to take part in this program will be required to submit one short article per week about their selected area of interest — in turn you'll garner a reputation around the city, and the country, as an expert in your field.
Interested? Send us a resume and two 300-word articles that focus on one of the previously mentioned subjects; the articles should be provocative, informative and engrossing. We won't publish your submission; we'll just use it to judge your abilities and knowledge. If we like what we see, we'll contact you and give you more details about the program.
