News Rhiannon Bowman

Rhiannon Bowman will earn her Bachelor's degree from UNC Charlotte in May 2009 with a four-year degree in communication studies/ mass media and a minor in journalism after fourteen years in (three) college(s)-- only eight in the classroom, though. Recently, she has written freelance articles for Skirt! Magazine, UCity Magazine, UNC Charlotte Magazine, The Mountain Island Monitor, The Union County Weekly, Pet o' Mine Magazine, and The University Times. She also blogs and writes books reviews at The Word Trade, her personal blog and the name of her fledgling freelance writing business. Rhiannon enjoys camping, disk golf, Twitter, criticizing politicians and the media, odd people and unusual things. Born in Nuremberg, Germany, she was raised in Wetumpka, Ala., and moved to Charlotte in 2004 after six years in Atlanta. She's married with two cats.
