A few years ago, Brooke Edge was a contributing writer to Creative Loafing and a Charlotte-based freelance writer. Then, after reading The Unbearable Lightness of Being one too many times, she and her husband relocated to Prague. Brooke wrote for The Prague Post, as dance critic and feature writer, for a year and a half, before moving back Stateside in 2008. She currently is working on a Master’s degree in Cinema Studies at New York University’s Tisch School, and recently wrapped up an entertaining internship in production at Sesame Street. While Brooke harbors a lifetime love of going to the movies, these days most of her viewing is courtesy of Netflix due to the price of cinema tickets in Manhattan.
