News Would you vote for Mike Minter?

Former Carolina Panther Mike Minter is eyeing Washington and no, not the Redskins.
He wants to be a congressman.
But what does he know about politics? This is not the change we need. According to the Associated Press:
Minter spoke minutes after returning from a two-day visit to Washington where surveyed the political scene. He said he would discuss the issue with his family and pastor before deciding."My thing right now is trying to find the best way I can help people achieve what they need to achieve," Minter said. "This is just another option that was thrown on the table for me to look at."
What has Larry Kissell done to make Minter want to throw his Panther hat in the ring? North Carolina needs experience, not a former football player who would spend more time signing autographs than getting legislation written.
I like Minter, he's cool. But he needs to stick to what he knows. Football.
Minter is also coaching a local high school football team and is involved in UNC Charlotte's efforts to start a football program. Minter said he's also inquired about coaching that team, too.
