CPCC gone wild

That's right, all six CPCC campuses are now certified wildlife habitats. Oh, wait -- oh. It's not what you think. No Playboy Bunnies, just regular woodland creatures.

All kidding aside, a hearty congratulations to the students, faculty, staff and administrators.

Landscape design instructor Randy Sigg designed the habitats and CPCC horticulture students took part, said Ernie McLaney, program coordinator for CPCC's Center for Sustainability. CPCC's Presidential Cabinet awarded its six $2,000 innovation grants for each campus. Teams at each campus will maintain the habitats.
